Survey lock & card charge dates! New sample photos

Hello everyone!

So far 82% of surveys have been completed, thank you so much!

SURVEY LOCK & CHARGE DATE

The surveys will be locked this Thursday April 1st. I’ll then charge cards for pre-orders and survey add-ons/shipping on Friday April 2nd. This is so I can send accurate counts to the manufacturer, so please fill in your survey by Thursday to ensure you receive the design you want! If you have not received a survey please contact me and I’ll get that sorted for you.

Once the surveys are locked, you will not be able to add more add-ons to your survey or change your planter/pin/saucer choice.

I will only be charging for the shipping fee/add-on amount. You will not be charged twice for the Kickstarter pledge. However, please make sure you answered the survey page and didn’t fill in the pre-order page instead. The survey would have looked like this:

SAMPLE PHOTOS

The manufacturer sent me updated photos of the samples, here is a full view of them! Manufacturer photos are usually a bit low quality but I will take some better ones once I receive the samples. 

Changes made: The mushroom spots have been changed to a white instead of grey, and the cat’s mouth has been adjusted.

Possible future changes: I have requested the stars on the side of the whale to be filled in more during bulk production. I am also considering resampling the whale to lower the fins on the side. For the bunny, I will be changing the side flowers to a pink instead.

With the saucers, I will check the colours once I receive them since manufacturer photos are usually a bit off. I may change the leaf to be slightly more orange/red, and the star to be a bit paler, but these would only be small adjustments and I'll update you all here on the process!

Surveys are going out! + sample progress

Hello everyone!

The BackerKit surveys are being sent out today! You’ll be able to answer the questions about your reward preferences, pay for and provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.

If you or someone you know missed out on pledging, you can use this link to pre-order the planters at the BackerKit store. After fulfilment has been completed the planters will be sold through my online shop.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys to get the final counts.

Here is an update on the sample progress! I’ll post a new update in the next few days once they’re complete.

Hello!

I’d like to say a huge thank you again for the support with this project! We managed to unlock every design, and hopefully this will allow me to create more designs in the future too!

The survey is currently in development but it should be sent out in the next week and a half!

The survey will be on Backerkit, where a pre-order shop will also be set up for anyone who missed the Kickstarter.

NEXT STEPS

I'll post another update once the survey has been sent out. You'll receive the link by email where you can choose your pin/pot/saucer designs. You can also add your shipping address, and purchase extra items you didn’t include in your pledge. The shipping address will remain editable until I lock the survey.

Kickstarter takes 2 weeks to process the campaign funds. If you noticed your card was declined, you will have until this Friday to fix your payment before your pledge is dropped. You will receive the survey even if the pledge is dropped, so you will be able to pay for the pledge through Backerkit.

I have placed orders for the new sample designs, these will be finished around mid-March!

Hello everyone!!

We're getting close to the end of this campaign, I wanted to thank you all again! We hit 100k which is so incredible, I'm really grateful that nearly 2000 of you want to bring my little plant pots home! 

Before the Kickstarter finishes, I wanted to mention the important info below just to be clear on all the details of the project(:

Key info:

• Shipping prices are not included in the pledge tiers, you will be charged for shipping after the campaign
• You choose your item designs, pay for shipping and input your shipping address in the survey sent after the campaign
• I won't be locking addresses in the survey until closer to the shipping date, so if you'll be moving you can edit the address at any time
• The planters and saucers are not made from food grade materials! I wouldn't recommend them for eating/drinking from. I'll be making mugs from some of these designs so they would be more suitable instead!
• The planters are 10cm x 9.5cm x 7cm (~4 x 3.75 x 2.75 in) and have a drainage hole
• Once the Kickstarter has been fulfilled, everything will be up for sale later this year on my website, (possibly at a slightly higher price)
• If you are purchasing from the UK, any items you add-on during the survey may incur a VAT fee

I also took some more photos of the pots today! Here's another look at the bear, axolotl, calico and mushroom pots! The calico has a cherry blossom side design, the bear has a daisy, and the axolotl has lily pads!
